how do i hook up a audiovox portable dvd to my tv? I bought a Audiovox D1708 portable dvd and Im not sure how to hook it up to my tv ,so i can watch the dvd on my tv, I bought it from a friend and the manual that is in there does not explain how and do i need to put the tv on a certain channel thanks

What charger do I buy for a portable Audiovox D1917PK DVD player.? my husband is overseas and lost the power charger for his portable dvd player. Which one do I get? My 10" Audiovox portable DVD player isn't recharging as it normally does when plugged in. This DVD player was bought last Thanksgiving, and suddenly, it won't recharge when I plug it in as it normally does. Does anyone have a clue what may be the problem? i have a Audiovox portable DvD player i want to connect my Xbox 360 to (for a long trip) i have audio no visul? first off i know i spelled Visual wrong i had to too be able to fit it in the box second im going on a long trip and i want to play my xbox 360 on my Audiovox portable dvd player i dont have the instructions (i bought it a while back and lost them in that time) it has the A/V jacks on the side but when i plug them in i get the audio but instead of show my xbox dashboard it just says DVD PLAYER no disk (i have no disk in because when its in it just plays the dvd and cuts off the xbox sound) ive tried to find an input switch on it but there is nothing on it but on,off,stand-by,menu, volume, brightness, widescreen, or letterbox switches on it and to clear up all future questions YES THE YELLOW CORD IS IN THE YELLOW JACK THE RED IN THE RED AND THE WHITE IN THE WHITE i have though of this many times before and asking on yahoo is my last chace im leaving this sunday (october 26th) so please help before then thanks in advance

Can you help me choose a good portable DVD player? I am looking to buy a portable DVD player for a long car ride. I am looking at the portable players that have two screens. I saw one at Sam's Club. You can use it so two people can watch the same movie on two screens, or each TV can be used separately. I might just end up getting two separate units, one for each child. Just recieved a brand new audiovox D1420 portable DVD player. Need some help please? I plugged it in and inserted the dvd and it acts like its loading and then it says NO DISC. I have tried several different discs and none work. I thought even though it has an ac adaptor I might need to charge it first, so I did and still no luck. I want to get an extra battery for it, but I can't seem to find the model number from the box (Model: PVD73 is what the box says) on the Audiovox.com website for extra batteries, NOR can I even find it in a Google search. Does anyone know where I can find a manual to my portable DVD player online? I need to find the manual for my Audiovox portable DVD player style number D1708. I primarily use it for my daughter and the picture is black and white. I need to find out how to change it back to color. Yes, I've tried using the remote control and all other controls to change the display and what not but I have not found anything to change it. "I had an audiovox portable dvd player for less than a year and a little piece chipped off from the part that you place the dvd onto which causes movie to skip if i try to move it while its on, has anyone else had this problem with this brand or any other?

Why can't I get my portable DVD player to play? I have an Audiovox ADV12 that no longer works. Everything was fine, but now when I put in a DVD the screen just remains black. I can hear the DVD spinning, but nothing happens. If I try to play a CD the music will play but still nothing on the screen. Any ideas as to what is wrong with it? Can I fix it? Question about portable DVD players...? Is the screen quality a bit different because they are so small or is it b/c the one I bought isn't the best brand? How much Should I Sell A Portable TV/DVD/Monitor Combo Player for? It is a Audiovox Adv12. It can be used as a portable TV when plugged in through a cable cord(also picks up the wireless channels but that stops in February). Portable dvd player problem? I have an Audiovox d1817pk 8" 16:9 format. The player worked reasonably well, as well as expected, for four days. On the fourth day, I turned it on, and I noticed that the screen was very dark. I could still see shapes on the screen, and if I shined a bright light on it, I could see the picture at about 50% of normal brightness. I read reviews and found that this happened to other people as well. I have been very careful with this player, and I know that I did nothing to cause this. If I wanted to send it back to audiovox, I would have to pay $97 for repairs, and also shipping, is there anyway to fix this myself, or will I have to settle for a lot of disgruntled calls and emails to audiovox? Because I am not paying that much to fix something I didn't break in the first place and is only 4 days old.

Anyone help me find a portable DVD player with good sound.? I bought a Audiovox dvr80 and the sound is horrible. I'm a truck driver and when I'm in the truck trying to watch a movie I can hardly hear the sound. Has anyone tried a different brand or had experiance with others in a place that is kinda noisy and you can watch and hear a movie. I don't like to wear headphones cause I have to be on a phone a lot of the time out of my day and get tired of having things in my ears all the time. All the windows are up but in my truck it has to run for air or hear constantly and I have a refer unit which is a portable refridgerator on my trailer and it in itself is kindof loud. I just thought maybe there was another type or model that maybe had better sound.

My DVD player says invalid disc? I have a portable DVD player that's about six months old. It's been taken care of very well, never dropped or anything. It's an Audiovox brand. I put a disc in and it sounds strange, and it says that the DVD is an invalid disc. I'm putting in store bought DVD's that are fresh from the cases without scratches on them. I've also cleaned the lense with a lense cleaning disc. Any ideas how to fix it?

I need a cord for my portable dvd player....? I need a cord to go from my battery charger to the dvd player. I believe it's a "B" connection. I know it's a yellow tipped cord. Anybody know where I can find this for cheap. It needs the same connector on both ends. The brand is Audiovox. It's $25 at Radio Shack and they basically have to put 3 pieces together to make 1.
