How can I mount a screen-only portable dvd (with no base) to the car headrest? Hi, We are about to embark on a cross-country trip, and just bought the Philips DCP951 for our daughter. The dvd is part of the screen itself (access from the back). My question is simple: how can I mount it to the headrest? Without it, it is not clear to me how she can watch it... and this dvd has no "base". Thanks!
Universal head rest mount for portable dvd player? I am looking for a universal dvd head rest mount for my car for my dvd player. It is a pain in the rear to take the straps down each time I want to remove the player. I just want to leave the mount in the car and take the dvd player when needed. it is a Polaroid 8 inch screen. I have tried contacting them but getting the run around. Help if you can.........
Reliable tablet style portable DVD player with safe in-car mounting? Ok, I'm stumped. I am looking for a portable DVD player. I like the tablet style so it doesn't have to sit like an "L" to be played on the back of the headrest in my car. I am also looking for a safe mounting option for it. These belts and buckles included in the portable carrying cases just don't look safe. I am going to be using it for my daughter and am worried that if I were to get in an accident it could possibly come loose and strike her. Perhaps it's a slim chance but still possible. Does anyone have any ideas? Every portable DVD player I look at has flaky reviews and I can't find one of those "pouch style" headrest mounts (looks like a headrest cover) that will fit a tablet style portable DVD player. Help! Thanks!
Two (2) independent portable dvd players that can show 1 movie on both at the same time? Is there a portable DVD player (that can mount in my car/ headrest) that can hook up to a second portable DVD player and play a movie in one and show it on both? I purchased 2 Panasonic Portable DVD players for my car and I have tried several things to get them to work consecutivley. I seem to be at a loss to get them to work together so I am hoping that someone can recommend a different set of 2 portable DVD players that can make this possible. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

DVD Players In Cars? I just saw a debate on babycenter regarding dvd players in cars and wanted your opinion. Do you agree with them? Love them? Hate them? Why? My husband has a portable one that my parents gave him before he went to Iraq and last weekend we put it in the car for our (2 year old) son, for the first time. It's not mounted in the vehicle so it's, obviously, not as safe as other types that are but we did mount it on the back of the front seat. We went on a camping trip and it was a 3 hour drive (one way). He sat there, content, watching the entire movie. It was the most peaceful, long distance drive we have ever taken with him. I can't say I would use it for trips shorter than 2 1/2- 3 hours but in this case, it made it so much easier for everyone. He almost never watches TV at home so it was somewhat of a treat for him.
What does refurbished mean? Im wanting to buy a panasonic portable DVD player that is on sale for an awesome price because it is refurbished.
