Is there any way to hook up a playstation 2 to a toshiba portable dvd player? Just bought a toshiba sd-p1850sn portable dvd player, the guy at Best Buy told us we would be able to hook up the playstation 2 to the dvd player and play games. We cannot figure out how and the instructions don't help. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Our portable DVD player (Toshiba SD-KP19) reads bought DVDs but not burnt ones. What can I do to fix this? It reads the burnt DVDs for about 35-45 mins then starts to skip. It's brand new and says that it reads DVD-R & RW. I'm a newbie for electronics. Anyone can help?

DVD+R Disc doesn't work on my DVD Player, but works on my PORTABLE DVD Player? Ok, so i burned one of my movies to a DVD+R disc. Using Windows DVD Maker. I tried playing it on my Dynex Portable DVD Player, and it worked fine. But when i tried it on my Toshiba DVD Player, it didn't work. Why is this? Im using a Memorex DVD+R disc. I'm kind of freaking out because two days ago I was peeling the paint of the speakers of the player and some got stuck under my nails. Well later that day I forgot that the paint was stuck under my nails and I was biting them. Now yesterday I was sick out of no where. Does anyone know if it could've been because of the paint? I remember all of this stuff in the news about some paint having lead in it and being harmful. This was made in October of 2004. It was also made in China.

Having trouble with hooking up a DVD player? A friend gave me a Toshiba television, model 27A33. I hooked up the DVD player (a portable Durabrand) up to the front audio/video jacks and nothing happened. There are jacks on the back. I tried one set. The TV/Video button on the RCA rcr4358 universal remote doesn't seem to work properly. I programmed it twice, yet it just gives me the time. I know I'm doing something wrong but I'm not sure what.

any programs I can make a movie on and put it on a blank cd or DVR-VR format and play in a DVD player...? I spent 6 hours making a movie on WMM, and I put on a blank cd because it wouldn't do the Dvr-vr format. Now when I put it in my DVD player and the portable one it doesn't work! My toshiba dvd player won't work!? The green light turns on but the screen is black when i try to play a movie and i can hear the sound but when i press play nothing works and its still a black screen! Looking for a tv/dvd combo 9 inch w/ ac and dc. Does anyone still make them? Brand name and retailer, please? Not had much luck with the portable dvd players -- they stop and start, and skip alot, but loved the 9 inch tv, with built in dvd player for the van til ours broke (must be ac and dc power) Toshiba used to make them, but can't find anymore. How can I transfer copy protected content from a DVR to a DVD disc? So I record movies off AMC and want to copy them to a DVD disc so I can take them to the gym and watch on my portable player. But when I try to do that it tells me the movie/recording is copy protected. I have a Toshiba recorder. Is there anyway around this?
