Dual Screen DVD Players

can you hook up an overhead monitor to an overhead dvd player?

I want to add a dual screen dvd system into my 08 Ford Expedition. Since I can't find one; I was wondering if you could hook up any overhead monitor to any overhead dvd player If I use the dome light as power, do I lose the light or will they both work

1. Yes, but power is the problem. The monitor still must get the correct power, the connection for the monitor and dvd player should be fine.
