Quan (Sacramento, CA) This DVD player has been performing as designed, keeping in mind the reviews from other models. I bought it new in Target. It is true that usually the 2nd screen is not as crisp & sharp as the main unit, but to average joes and kids, such discrepancy is easily overlooked. What I will be doing is install the DVD player & 2nd screen in my van when we are going on road trips that takes 45 mins at least. Otherwise, the products stay inside my house where it's safe and cool. I'll see if they will last me at least a year! I'll update my comments after a year or when my unit conked out, whichever comes first.
