Can you use normal batteries with portable dvd players?

was wanting to buy a cheap one for a long flight im going on though most portable dvd players seem only to have 2.5 hour battery life? can u use ur own other than wat is provided?

1. No. Like a laptop battery, a portable DVD will have a model specific battery to run it. You can't use your own.
