Dual Screen DVD Players

Are portable DVD players allowed on Airplanes?

I'm flying next month from BC to Arizona. Will they allow my portable DVD player on the plane? Please answer if you have experience doing this. Thanks

2. yes, you can bring and use dvd players on the plane
3. Yes, there's no restrictions on DVD players.
4. As far as I know you can, as long as you don't use it while the plane is taking off or landing. I know this because I always carry my Nintendo DS with me and I've asked the stewardess if I could play and she said "Sure".
