Dual Screen DVD Players

Can I make my portable DVD player have DivX playback?

I bought a Toshiba portable DVD player about two years ago. I was in a rush and didn't check to see if it supported anything other than the DVD format. So is there a way I can make it play other formats? Otherwise, I'll have to convert everything I want to watch, and I can't find a good freeware that will do so with a watermark. Help?

1. I think that you are out of luck trying to make you DVD player play DivX. If it isn't factory ready, you can't make it do it.
2. no it is only capapble of playing for format it was programmed to at the factory, no way to chagethe settings, sorry
