Dual Screen DVD Players

Need help on VCR's recording problem.?

I have a dual vcr/dvd player. Just like over a week ago, when I go to put a tape in and press record, the playback is all messed up. There are lines that are going up and down on the screen, it has done this to all my tapes. It plays back other tapes fine as long as they weren't recording an ything in the last week or so.

1. you should see if there's warranty. or you should get a dvr then when you go some where you don't have to keep the tv on.
